Connecting Flamborough Seniors: Recreation, Learning & Community - THIS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY PAUSED
Bringing Seniors Together Through Connection, Learning and Community
The Seniors Social Connections Program was a special initiative offered by Flamborough Connects to help reduce social isolation and create meaningful opportunities for seniors to connect with one another.
Through monthly gatherings, participants enjoyed:
- Recreational and wellness activities
- Educational presentations
- Opportunities to build lasting friendships
- A shared lunch in a welcoming, inclusive environment
Thanks to funding from the Province of Ontario’s Seniors Community Grant, this program successfully brought seniors together across Flamborough and made a positive impact on the lives of many participants.
Looking Ahead
At this time, the Seniors Social Connections Program is not currently being offered as funding for the initiative has concluded.
Flamborough Connects remains committed to supporting older adults in our community and hopes to offer this program again if future funding becomes available.
