Friendly Calling Program

Bringing people and resources together for 45 years.

Are you a senior or isolated adult looking for a weekly friendly call?

The Flamborough Connects’ Friendly Calling Program serves seniors and isolated adults in Flamborough and the greater Hamilton area.

  • Friendly callers provide weekly companionship, support, and social contact through phone calls.
  • Social phone calls reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness
  • Seniors’ ability to age at home is enhanced through continuing to live a healthy, enriched and independent life.

Volunteer callers call clients once per week for a minimum 15-minute telephone chat to provide a sense of companionship and support, social interaction and engaging conversation.
