Flamborough Drives volunteer driver program
Flamborough Drives is a volunteer driver program for eligible residents who do not drive or have access to public transit. It is a flexible service to ensure individuals can get to stores for shopping and to run errands in the Flamborough area: Waterdown, Carlisle, Freelton, Millgrove, Lynden, Greensville, and Rockton. Individual MUST LIVE in Flamborough, and drives must be within the Flamborough Boundary (ie: no drives into Hamilton or Burlington)
Clients must be independently mobile – collapsible walkers or canes are acceptable – and cognitively capable of managing their ride independently.
Please contact Flamborough Connects at least five business days before your trip to allow time to arrange transportation.
Costs are minimal and based on trip distance. We will confirm fee prior to your drive.
Please note: We do not do Medical Appointments at this time.
