Rural Community Grocery Bus

This is a collaborative program with Ancaster and Glanbrook Community Services, funded by the Hamilton Community Foundation. Bi-weekly transportation on a Friday morning, to shopping centers for rural seniors who do not drive. The shopping locations are the Food Basics Plaza in Ancaster or the Walmart Plaza in Waterdown. The trip is usually about 2.5 hours and the cost is $7.00 per person for a return trip.

Burlington Shopping Bus

The Burlington Shopping Bus is operated by Attridge Transportation and runs every second Tuesday of the month. It picks up Waterdown seniors on a scheduled route and takes them to shop at the Burlington Mall or Mapleview Mall in Burlington. This is a way to get out and have a great day and socialize with other seniors.

Cost is $6.00 per trip, or 4 trips for $20.00 (Tickets can be purchased on the bus.)
