Flamborough Shops, an Affordable Grocery Shopping ServiceIn response to COVID-19, Flamborough Connects is now offering Flamborough Shops, an affordable grocery shopping service for those who are unable to shop for themselves.
EligibilityThis service is available to anyone who has little to no support at home, are at a high risk for COVID-19 or those with a disability that limits their ability to go grocery shopping. You must live in Flamborough, including Waterdown, Carlisle, Freelton, Milgrove, Lynden, Greensville, and Rockton.
How it works
- Call the Flamborough Connects office to place your order, or email us.
- A volunteer will complete your shop and drop groceries off with no contact and social distancing.
- Complete payment by e-transfer or giving a cheque to the volunteer shopper.
Cost$10 for 25km round trip or less and $15 for anything over that range.
