Flamborough Connects Welcomes Back Activities

Flamborough Connects has hosted the annual Flamborough Volunteer Appreciation for 20 years.

This community celebration brings people and organizations together and acknowledges the extraordinary amount of time and work volunteers give freely to support their neighbours.

Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m., the Flamborough Volunteer Appreciation 2022 is back in person and on Zoom.

We are delighted that West Avenue Cider House — a generous supporter of the Flamborough Volunteer Appreciation and Flamborough Connects’ Flamborough Volunteers program since 2019 — will be laying out its fabulous charcuterie boards and opening cider taps to toast those who inspire with kindness, charity and impactful good work.

You can join in person and enjoy West Avenue Cider House treats and a spacious outdoor gathering spot. Tickets are $10 and limited.

Or, you can join virtually and receive a swag bag of treats and surprises. Virtual tickets are $6.

Both tickets are eligible for fabulous door prizes! For more information about tickets, please visit www.flamboroughconnects.ca/flamborough-volunteers, email admin@flamboroughconnects.ca or call 905-689-7880.

This year’s event will feature guest speaker Heather Johnson, the director of Volunteer Halton. Heather is an engaging public speaker with a long professional history of supporting volunteerism and building communities where people of all ages and abilities can live, dream and achieve.
