Program is available to local residents living on a low income
Tax season is just around the corner, which means Flamborough Connects is set to launch this year’s free Income Tax Program.
Starting March 2, local residents living on a low income can access the confidential Community Volunteer Income Tax (CVIT) program. Trained volunteers will support eligible individuals and families in completing their 2025 tax returns, and help them access the benefits and credits to which they’re entitled.
Eligibility requirements for the program:
- Income is below $40,000 for an individual or below $55,000 for a couple
- Simple tax situation
- All tax slips and receipts must be provided
- Must reside in Flamborough
