FLAMBOROUGH CONNECTS: Celebrate community volunteers this month

April is Volunteer Month and National Volunteer Week is April 14 to 20, 2024!

The theme for National Volunteer Week 2024 is Every Moment Matters. It highlights the importance of every volunteer and each contribution they make at a moment when we need support more than ever. The sharing of time, skills, empathy, and creativity is vital to the inclusivity, strength, and well-being of our
communities (from Volunteer Canada).

Flamborough Connects proudly recognizes the amazing contribution of volunteers in Flamborough by presenting the Flamborough Volunteer Appreciation Celebration. This annual event will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at the Flamborough Seniors Centre in the Waterdown Library building. Local charities, community organizations, faith groups, service clubs and sports organizations are invited to attend and recognize the volunteers who help make your groups
