Why local history – Grace Anglican Church

This year we celebrate our golden anniversary. Many of those outside the “bubble” of a local heritage society would wonder why local history is so important. Isn’t what we learned in school enough? Our vice president Meghan Martin will share how she started volunteering with the Flamborough Heritage Society, where it got its start, its importance and how it continues to change within the community.

We will try to hold this as a hybrid meeting, Zoom link will be added closer to the event.

At each of our meetings there is a brief period allotted to the business of the Society, followed by a speaker, or presentation on some aspect of local history or heritage. Afterward we will celebrate with cake, coffee and conversation. Join us and let’s celebrate!
