National Seniors Day!

Flamborough is getting ready to celebrate the amazing seniors who make our community strong! Wednesday, October 1, 2025, is National Seniors Day – a special day across Canada dedicated to honouring the incredible contributions older adults make to our families, workplaces, and neighbourhoods. This celebration also coincides with the United Nations’ International Day of Older Persons, reminding us that seniors’ voices and experiences are valued worldwide.

This year, Flamborough Connects is bringing the celebration right to the community with a little extra joy. Throughout the day, you may spot our team in their signature blue shirts, spreading kindness and sharing surprises. If you see us, be sure to wave – and you just might be one of the lucky recipients of a random act of kindness!
