|Flamborough Connects||Student Volunteer Assistant
The student volunteer assistant will support Flamborough Connects social media and outreach efforts to connect students to community volunteer opportunities and events. This position is ideally suited to a youth interested in completing their community service hours. The role will take place in the Flamborough Connects office, or in the community.

|Optimist Club of Carlisle||Skating Program Helpers
The Optimist Club of Carlisle is looking for people who enjoy skating and are good with helping young children to assist with the Skating Program at Carlisle Arena on Mondays and Wednesday from 5-7pm (Oct. 15, 2018-March 6, 2019). Ideal for students looking to fill community service hours, active retirees looking for some exercise or people who just like to skate! All volunteers must wear a helmet and skates and volunteers over the age of 18 must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check conducted by the Hamilton Police Service.

|Alexander Place||Seeking a volunteer to help run our Tuck Shop 1-2 days a week for approx 2 hours.
Seeking volunteers to assist staff with running programs as well as helping residents get to and from programs. Days and hours vary.
Friends of Alexander Place is seeking 2-4 board members. Their objective is to enrich the lives of residents at Alexander Place or if needed in the community. The board meets quarterly as well as runs fundraisers throughout the year. Some include an annual bazaar along with Alexander Place and raffling holiday themed baskets.

Second and third Saturday of each month breakfast is served 8:30am – 10:30am, 80 Mill St. N., arrive early to set up and stay until 11ish to help clean up.
